First off, I should not have installed the drivers side cross member first. Welp, I literally dropped my engine in and lowered it too much and crushed the oil pressure sensor. Will this leak?

It "might" hold up. Check the OFH for any small cracks that they are prone to get where, what looks like an adaptor, is going into it. Hate to have a leak Tony.

I don’t think it’ll leak but not sure how these actually work. There is resistance between the two posts so the electrical part is good. I’ll check the ofh. Thanks Marty!!

I have had mixed results with that sensor. I used a glowshift oil pressure gauge in my Red Talon but had an issue with a off brand (not that GlowShift is a MAIN brand but...) oil pressure gauge that I was trying out in the Blue Auto car. It never reflected the same readings as the manual gauge that I am using now.

I just hate the idea of a leaking oil gauge in the cabin. Maybe I’ll throw on a manual gauge to see what the difference is so I’ll know

That's what I did and why I stayed with it. In all my years of building hot rods, I have never ever had one leak inside the cabin. I did have a packrat chew the nylon line into two on my oldest sons SBC Camaro and the boys proceeded to lock up my 355 Chevy with good parts in it, due to ...............NO OIL.............They never once looked at what I think is THE MOST IMPORTANT GAUGE in the car IMO. :banghead:
I do think you should compare readings between the 2 so you know if they are reading close to the same.
