will the 2.4L 420a throttle body work on the 2.0?

Gains never heard of that with a non turbo car, possible but do you have any expectations from it?

There is no 2.4L 420a motor. The only 2.4L was the 4g64 that came in the N/T spyders. And no that throttle body will not work on your car. You can do the 4.0 jeep throttle body swap, its a 60mm TB and works with minimal modification.

If anything i could see the 2.4 one working not the 420a but we will see what the experts say. I doubt you would gain anything

i know they're not any 2.4L 420a's made for the eclipse but what i do know is that they have the 2.4L engines in the avenger and chyrsler sebrings. i mean im not really looking for any gain just wanted to know if it'll make a big difference and is it worth putting on the 3" 2.4L throttle body.

Are you referring to the 2.4L DOHC that's a Chrysler engine? That was used in the FOUR door Sebring/stratus. (01-05) and in the "cloud car" variations from 95-00. (aka.. dodge stratus, cirrus, breeze) The Avenger/Sebring never got the 2.4L; it was a 2.0L. Ok, unless you are talking the newest Avenger.. but that's yet a different (4b11-family) engine.

The 2.4L SOHC was the mitsu engine.

Long story short; never heard of anyone doing this... the Jeep one is more popular.

i had a friend told me that it could work thats why i asked wasnt sure,and i think the jeep one's are 60MM wouldn't that be overkill for a n/a?

Theres alot of overkill..Especially for a n/t..But if you want the best performance out of a 420a and you can get the tb for cheap..Why not go for it..
