Will a 1990 TPS work on a newer 1G throttle body?

Hey guys,
I currently have a 1990 style throttle body, looks like this:

I want to replace it with a newer "91+" throttle body, this:

Can I use my current "wired in" throttle position sensor, or do I have to swap over to the newer one?

The whole FIAV section on the 91+ throttle body will be removed, so I don't need to worry about wiring up the ISC.

Apart from the TPS, is there anything else that won't fit?

Any help or advice is appreciated, thanks! :)

No idea if it will work mate.
I have my old Aspec vr4 throtte body here that has a blocked fiav and no isc installed.
Pay the cost of postage from Brisbane to you and back again ( yes I do want it back! ) and you can borrow it to try if you like.

Can't hurt to try your TPS on the Aspec unit that you have there then?
Aspec is identical to the 1G unit.
