Will mhi 7cm turbine housing fit an ebay evo3 turbo???

Hello everyone this is a simple question, i am just wondering if an mhi 7cm turbine housing can fit on a ebay evo 3 turbo. Mine has stripped the threads and i have already drilled and tapped for bigger bolts, that didnt work so its time to get a new turbine housing. I know its an ebay turbo and i should get rid of it and thats what my plan is, im saving up for an fp green but i need this back to driving condition. Please no flaming as i already know these turbos reputation but all i would like to do is know if this is possible,

It will work, but it would be much cheaper to use nuts, and bolts.

when using the nuts and bolts approach what side nuts and bolts should i be using, i tried to use nuts on the 7/16ths by 20 bolts i tapped the housing for but i think they were too big

Well, an ebay 7cm housing fits a MHI turbo so it should work the other way around. So, yes.

I forget the exact size i use, but they are pretty thin. That way if they seize, i can just break them in half with a breaker bar, and the part of the shaft with the head can be pulled out from above, and the rest of the shaft, with the seized nut comes out below.

this will probably be what i attempt to do today haha, it just seems alot more time efficient and cost efficient since everything is already bolted up and everything, ill try and use a size or two smaller bolts then the stock bolts

If you're planning on swapping out the turbine housing, consider the reason these bolts are seizing first. I have gone through a number of bolts and headaches before finding that the manifold was actually warped slightly, causing an incorrect angle for the bolts. This caused cross-threading and warping of the bolts, which would then break off. The hardened fasteners are more susceptible to breaking after slight warping, so be sure to use stock or slightly softer fasteners and replace them often.

the bolts arent seizing they are stripping the threads, your point is well seen though and can be something along those lines that caused the problem

The threads will pull out of the eBay turbine housings often after the first use. It's the nature of using a turbo with a turbine housing made from melted-down brake rotors. You've done nothing wrong.

^^ haha touche, as said before its an interim turbo to get me by tell i can get the fp green. Surprisingly the turbo pulls hard though, its been seeing 21 psi for a few weeks now and still no shaft play. Not saying they are good turbos, just sounds like ive gotten one of the rare but good units.
