Will a small 16g fit into the 14b turbine housing?

I just bought a used small 16g but there is a broken stud that i cant get out and really don't want to spend the time to drill it and retap, and run the risk of snapping some turbo to manifold bolts if i don't have too.

Can i just take off the v-band and swap the center sections and compressor housings? I know the 7cm tubine housing is less restrictive, but i am looking for ease of install. and the turbine housing has a crack in it anyway.

Will this work?

yes, you can use the 14b turbine housing.

i would, but i am already selling the 14b to a buddy with a 2g. He kind of needs the turbine housing...

So you are POSITIVE it will fit?

its cracked, but sure if you want to cover the shipping from me to you. I would need you to send yours first tho....i am swapping it this weekend and told my buddy i would have it to him by tuesday.

I've replaced the cracked housing on my 14B with a new ported one from a 16G. When I sold my 14B, I kept the housing and put that on a used 16G and put the unported housing on my 14B and sold that. They're readily interchangeable.

Cool....thats what i needed to know. What psi is the s16g capable of....i have w/i so i don't mind if it is a little out of the efficiency rance just a bit
