wich bumpers covers retain the bumper?????

I think I really like the blitz front bumber cover( I know, I know, I will look like one of the rest of them, ) but it seems to flow the best with the lines of the eclipse imho.

From the looks of it there is no way it would be able to retain the 5 mile per hour bumper, but if any one can steer me in the direction of some covers that do,

even some nice lips would be fine, but I havn't seen any that fit the 95-96 version, or 97-98 for that matter.

my drift front i had to take off the bumper. most all aftermarket fronts and rears will. my friend has a street fighter front and he chopped up his little support bumper pretty bad, it went from that solid 4'' piece, to his now like 1.5'' piece haha. its still on there. but regardless, take it off, there isnt a NEED for it. i mean, if you hit anything under 10 your frame shouldnt bend or anything so... yea dont worry about it. my front and rear supportrs are off and i could care less.


as long as YOU dont hit anything, its all good. let the suv's hit me, can someone say "new car"

MOst insurance companies if not all will void a policy or will simply not cover your vehicle if you have damage and they see that there is no bumper reinforcement. Thats probably why your buddy hacked his and kept it in place. As long as its there and they see something .

The bumper support does help in low speed collisions, but it helps alot in high speed collisions. It's designed to buckle just like everything else on your car to keep you safe I worked at a body shop so I see the damage when a car's taken apart and the reinforcements help reduce alot of it. But to answer the original question, I don't know which ones do, and which ones don't. Try calling some of the companies that make them, they should know.

The 98 style is really nice enough for me, I was just curious if there were other options that would allow me to keep my bumber.

i kept mine, i have a buddy club front. everything was kept under the bumper besides the styrofoam.
