You may wanna change the title to REAR 2gb bumpers.

I would guess they are hard to find because they aren't as popular as the front bumper. You can usually find them from people parting out their car though. :thumb:

Yeah my bad, and for some reason I didnt post this in the interior/exterior forum. :(

first of all i have a urethane body kit.... its very durable ... flexes and doesnt shatter... i have a small crack in mine tho... is the best way to fix it a plastic weld??? ... any other sugestions

get a roto zip and drill a hole a little higher then the crack then either leave it or use the dremel to cut or widen where the crack is. its better to do this so you have a 1/8" or 1/4" slit where the crack was (better adhesion). then go to walmart and get fiberglass drywall tape. its a square mesh type on a roll. then buy a epoxy like quick epoxy (part a is epoxy part b is the hardener. sand the area with 100 or 120 grit sand paper, then lay the tape on the inside of the bumper and get a popsickle stick or something to spread the epoxy all over the tape and make sure the gap fills in on the front so you can sand it flush. then paint it with touch up or paint the hole bumper. this is how you fix cracks in abs, urethane, and fiberglass. you can also use fiberglass mat and resin to do the same thing.

Extreme Dimensions (www.extremedimensions.com) has this "new" Duraflex material, I asked them for a price quote for a 2G drift/drifter kit yesterday, haven't heard back from them yet. Here's some more info...

My 2gb bumper cover hit a phone poll at about 10MPH, don't ask why, but it barely put even a noticable dent in it. I was prepared for the worst, and got out and only saw a small dent. Won't be doing anymore poll smashing I can tell ya that.

Thats nice but there's no offerings for our dsm's yet.

looks really clean. just the headlights don't really look that great with the yellow side markers. get the clear markers off ebay as well. but good job I like it.

ALLRIGHT! I have the exact same bumper sitting in my room! with clear turn signals waiting on the headlights.

Have you driven it at night? I just ordered Halo projectors... wondering they worked good...

the projectors work well at night, Ive had those on there a couple months.

there nice right after the sun goes down when u can drive around with the blue angle eyes lit up.

Yeah, I can't wait to get mine on, what bulbs do you have?

yes, the orange sidemarkers stick out like a sore thumb!

other than that, looks great. i too have purchased the "oem" bumper's off ebay, and it worked great!

Looks good! I'm probably getting the same headlights, but with the black housing. Is the viewing angle same as stock?

$120 was the total, shipped in just wrapping and bubble wrap.

The projectors came with bulbs, I'm using whatever was in them.

How's the light output on em? Did you buy them off ebay?
If so what seller?
I'm looking at picking up a pair but in black but I want to make sure they don't suck.:)

I have the same exact one w/ clear signals in my room too. LOL

That's funny I did that exact conversion to a guy who i knows car just yesterday. I agree the clear sidemarkers will look much better on it.

Just wondering why you got the one with the Triangle though. I got the one without it awhile back for alittle over 100 off ebay. I think the ad was by Pershing Auto parts or something like that.

That looks really good. Is the triangle impression for the Diamonds the same size? It looks smaller.

To answer your Q, its been modified and cheapend down. The original bumpers were in the shape of the mitsu symbol, not just a big triangle. that was the first thing I noticed. LOL

That's where i got mine too, they are great OEM replacement IMO.

It took a month and a half almost to finally get my bumper from Pershing though. That was the only crappy part.
