Why twin scroll and internal wastegate doesn't work?

The wastegate hole is the same size on an hy as an hx. I have them side by side at home.
'zatrite?

9cm2 HY35 left, 12cm2 HX35 right....both from the same generation of Dodge truck as noted by the studs present in the rear mounting holes on the manifold flange (no other HX35 application utilizes two studs in the manifold flange):

Perhaps I exaggerated a bit on the size of the HX35's wastegate port...it's actually closer to the size of a penny than a dime. The HY35 has about a stock DSM-sized wastegate flapper and port.

The holsets internal gate only bypasses 1 volute, so essentially 2 cyl would flow more air than the rest. They would be lean and the engine would make uneven power would could cause problems

do you have any data to back that up? cause if we are going to bench race I would bet all runners would have equal pressure and same a/f ratio. runners are never sealed from one another, pressure equalizes at the turbine wheel. twin vents would be able to run lower boost. but if one vent controls boost for level you want to run there would otherwise be no advantage. heck buschur 20g were run for some ten years venting one runner. no one ever complained.

No, try it and let me see. The principles behind the scence say there should be a difference. The runners are seperatethe way to the nozzles, and they will have different mass flow, which will create a pressure differential
