Okay I keep looking into suspension and I see there a few vendors that sell adjustable control arms whether front, rear, toe arms & trailing arms. With either helm bushings Poly, I just want to know WHY people are buying them and what made them choose them. Feels like most everything I read is to realign the suspension once you lower your car but i feel their more sense their are so many different options. BTW this would be a street car. Nothing crazy like drag racing

As anything we buy to improve performance, why so many you have to think about what your doing, and why. Look at your goal and budget and go from there, because some are drag, race, autocross, street cars so you can pick what you want.

It's a 30 year old car as in any car parts don't last forever, I see your new but you'll learn as you go. Don't buy because someone else did, but for you.

Understandable. I just don't want to fall into the habit of well buying parts because they're new parts and actually they have no use of me owning.

I begin getting into the habit of that just looking at suspension parts on mainly Volk Metal Craft, but questioning myself on what is the soul reason behind this upgrade. I want it to handle very very well as a fun street car so in the beginning I thought "replace everything with known good suspension" but I feel that's an incorrect approach since I will not know WHY I am using helm bushing or why do I need adjustable parts. What am I benefiting from this beside something that I'll put on a car and never actually use for its potential.

Yes, I've lowered the car and I know I'll have to get some adjustable components to help with camber and such but I really wanted to focus more on understanding what I am doing besides. Oh take this part off put this part on because it's new and expensive.

Lots of parts break so upgrade because oem stock stuff is obsolete no one can really give you the answer you are looking for. Or keep it as is and enjoy it. Ask those who make the parts pr call companies and talk to them about options and why they offer what they do. Takes time

Unless you are going to push your car (hard driving, whether fast on winding roads or in some sortof race scenario), you won't realize the benefits and improvements the special suspension gives you. But because quality stock replacements are almost impossible to come by, I recommend you understand what you need first. Then, research on here for recommended and reputable manufacturers/sellers, and then contact them and explain what you need and ask them for recommendations.

One thing to consider is high performance parts often need more regular maintenance than OEM replacements and you are often trading increased performance for increased noise, vibration, and harshness. Factory bushings for example are commonly selected as much for how much they isolate vibration as for how precise they keep the components in relative position and life.
