Why I'm glad I have a 1G instead of a 2G. . .

This is not a turbo or tranny issue. This is not a bolt on and I don't think many newbies are pulling their engines. ... So, how do you pull a 2Gb AWD engine? Do you drop the tranny? The rollstops are mounted onto the trannyOMG . Do you leave the tranny in and slide the engine from the trans drive shaft? Is there enough room on the drivers side to do this? Do you have to remove any pullies to do this?

My friend's 2Gb took a sh!t and he needs a new crank... He's got a balance shaft removal kit and new crank to go in. We've got the hoist ready. We've dropped the center dif, and removed the intake and turbo for his 18G turbo swap that he's doing too. But the above questions are holding me back now.
