What?? you guys want to see the turbo and motor? Alrighty, here ya go, FP 3065, 3” V-band O2 with a 44 Tial recirculated back in, held on by a FP manifold. The manifold I got new from a friend and it has that cheap ceramic coating on but I figure I will use it for now. Backhousing and O2 were Jet Hot coated as they should be, and the O2 was wrapped.

That would be my dream setup right there. Is the cyclone functional? Also, is that an FP o2 housing?

I couldn't stand the valve cover, just never liked it, so I redid it. After I did the valve cover the timing belt didn't match so I had to get an HKS to match.

He just got the car out of the body shop last Wednesday meaning he hasn't had time to fully tune the car. The Dr wasn't about to make a glory pass at the shootout and blow $hit up just so he could post an ET.

Just wondering how does the stock turbo heat sheild stay on the FP Manifold....I don't see any extra bolt holes or anything on the manifold...The only reason I don't want an FP manifold is due to not being able to use a heatsheild...(I do not like how big the JM Fab heat sheild is....)I like the stock heat sheilds....

Oh, I thought he did the body work and painting himself? Guess I read it wrong. Anyone else get that impression?

Either way it looks beautiful, there's no way I'd have the patience to do that.

Rupe probably won't ever make a 1/4 mile pass, not his thing. Nice build Rupe, glad to see your hard work come together. I rejoined here just to see this post on the recommendation of Jay to the CinciDSM list. I have to laugh a little here as I've seen some of Dr. Turbo's work in the past. Things like a sleeper 20g that Rupe called "stock", the dual feed fuel line...lets just say it didn't work the first go around ;), and the countless other "Dr. Turbo Secrets" he wouldn't share. I've been inspired, time for me to find another 1g....

From Post #111, "I want to give you a tiny bit background info on my painter. This guy is top notch, like he restores classic cars such a 32 ford, 54 chevy, that kind of work, it is not uncommon for him to build a $100,000 car, he is independent and has basically no employees all just him. Mike is the shizzy nizzy."

Do your under hood temps stay much cooler with all of that thermal insulation? What about weight. Is there a significant about of weight added?
