Many of you have questioned that I may or may not be a Dr, hopefully this helps clear things up.
History first:
Dec 95 I become aware of the DSM and only months before my 16th b-day I began to really research and want the vehicle. Keep in mind that I know nothing about cars, at that point I had never even changed oil.
Jul 97 with some good grades and behavior my father purchases for me a 90 AWD dark cherry talon for $4,500 with 97k.
During my senior year in 98 the high school had gotten the internet and they have each student play with it to try it out, I searched Eagle Talon and OH MY... that was the beginning of the end. I immediately started reading but took the good advice of others not to mod unless you knew what you were doing, I subscribed to Todd Day's daily digest and for the next two years did nothing but read and research with out posting any questions. I literally would search about every single component of the vehicle until I had an understanding of what it was, where it was at, and how to mod change or fix it. This was the most crucial point in my DSM career, during that time I never did one thing to my car except drive it.
