Whining/high pitch from t-belt area?

Whenever i start the car when its cold and it idles at about 2k, theres a whining/screaching sound from the t-belt area...right now, the timing belt cover is off and all the accesories as well. i started it up to see if the sound went away but it didnt...i cant see anything that would cause it to whine unless it is too tight but i really dont think it is.

btw, i have a greddy kevlar t-belt if that matters at all. Also, the belt has some marks in it like it is rubbing on something. it looks like part of it is heating up and making some dark strips on it. any suggestions?

Yea Im getting the same thing within that area. But mine sounds more like power(electricity). I have no clue what its from but I thought maybe my alternator since my voltage never stays right. Figured its probably on its way out. I would start the car and the voltage would be at 13.6 but when I start driving and come to stops I would see as low as 11.8.

Well just as an update, i took my front timing cover off and get a closer look and what do i see on the back of the cover??? Blue grease from the tensioner pulley....The pulley must have lost its lube causing it to whine like that....Im on my way to mitsu to get a new one...My pulley was brand new also...Oh well, ill see how it goes.
