Had a question about what my Second gauge should be. My cars Vertually stock except for a SBR Air filter and boost gauge, was wondering what other gauge i should put in my Steering wheel Gauge bezel? Air/fuel? Oil Pressure? Any comments/suggestions would be greatly appretiated. Thanks alot guys.

a wideband air/fuel ratio gauge. not a regular one commonly refered to as the blinky light show

I agree with VT. the wide band A/F gauge will be your best friend down the road. Don't waste you money on the narrow band A/F gauge. IMHO:talon:

if your not gonna get the really usefull gauge get a voltage gauge that way you can at least know if your alternator is opperating properly

I use an lm1 wideband so don't have a gauge but here is my setup.

boost
fuel pressure
water temp
oil pressure
egt

I know I am a gauge whore.

Recently, i have been wanting to change my gauges for a few reason. So i started looking at what everyone else is using: Autometer, Defi, Greddy, etc.... Then i saw the Megan Racing gauges, but havent seen anyone use them. I was wondering if anyone has or does anybody use them now, and if so how do they you think they compare to others? Are they as accurate being only a 1-3 wire hook-up and all electric.

Any suggestions on brands or anything would help. thanks in advanced!

I have a few friends that use the Megan gauges because they have a sponsorship (the whole team).. They say they are accurate and I believe they even turn to black when the car is off. I used to have the Autometer Pro Comp Ultra Lite and they were awesome. I sold the 5 gauges I had and now I own Autometer Cobalt series gauges just because I love the way they light up and the black face. They are a little pricey but I think it's worth it.

alright, thanks! im lookign for something to go with my theme, also, because my car is red and ill be running with gun metal wheels so black out gauges would be perfect...thanks :)

Well, depending on exactly what type of upgrades other then gauges your planning or have. A EGT gauge would be nice. I have a volts, temp, boost and A/F gauge and am planning on getting a EGT gauge myself. As far as brand goes you'll most likely get several answers to this. I went with the Bling so I went with the AC Autotechnics (just love the eye candy)

So its time to invest in some gauges....just wondering what the best ones are?? Like whats a good brand and also what gauges i should get...I know for sure a boost gauge and air to fuel....any others?? Thanks

I'm looking into getting an autometer 20psi/30vac gauge. They have them at summitracing for around $42, but you might be able to pick one up used off the for sale boards.
