I am putting in a new clutch after my tranny has just been rebuilt, i was not paying attention when i took the old clutch off to see which way it should face.
Should this side be facing the pressure plate?
also i would like to know if i am understanding this correctly.
When you hit the clutch pedal, it makes the salve clinder push the clutch fork foward, which pushes the throwout bearing onto the pressure plate/clutch disk, and pushes them foward enough so that the imput shaft is not engaged with them anymore so you can shift correct?
