which way should upper control arms face?

Extremely noobish question, but which way should they face?

I took off both at the same time without noting where they sat, and it looks to me that they can be installed in both sides.

I found this for sale on ebay. It says left. Hope this helps!

The one in the pic is the drivers side. The long curved side goes towards the front of the car.
