ok so im gettin a boost gauge tommorow finally:thumb: got tired of my stock one givin me wrong readings LOL.so i talked to a guy with a 2g gsx with the 7 bolt which his intake mani was different lookn than mine.he told me to hook up a T from the top driver sides sensor like he had his but for some reason my sensor has like double cylinders with like 4 hoses runnin off of it..so my question is which one of those do i hook it up to???pics would realy help.dont wanna mess somethin else up so please help:D..

Just look up in the manual where the fuel pressure silonoid is and tap the boost guage into that sucker.Any vacume line off the manifold will work but thats supposed to be a good spot.

^^^

Thats where Ive always hooked mine up on any car Ive had. Works great. Just get rid of the shitty plastic tubing and get some regular vac line. if you pinch the plastic stuff, its no good anymore and its really easy to ruin it.

great:D thanks guys hopefully i find it.... just want the one that will read boost the best..i have another problem i would want to mention just dont want to start a whole another thread..so im racing well not realy racing LOL.to me it wasnt a race but anyways i got info on here about gappin the spark plugs to .026 so it wouldnt start to crackle and pop around 5k t0 6k..well for some reason it doesnt do it first through third but when im wide open in 4th it does it realy bad i have to doulbe clutch the car so it shoots the rpm up but it still goes back down and do it.its realy gettin annoyin.btw i just changed the spark plugs earlier so they are brand new plugs and its just now startin to do well this the first time i ever opened real bad since ive ownd it.:confused:any help

LOL i found the selonoid i think.its over on the firewall on the top driver corner???.so i can run it off any of those four rubber lines comin off of it goin to my intake manifold???

Yes the fps is on the driver side firewall.Maybe you are getting fuel cut in the higher gears.Due to boost creep.Too much boost?Well I guess you will find out when you get that boost gauge in.

yea im thinking its either fuel cut or boost creep cause while its doin that its still build up boostt but just at a way slower pace and just pops and pops.my stock boost gauge shoots up to 12-13psi fast.im runnin a rubber hose to wasted gate thats new.so i know no leak there.but im realy thinkin most of this is due to me runnin open header.i took the cat off so im jus runnin from the turbo back to were the cat use to be.could this be causin to much airflow and cause it to do this.buts its so sudden never did it that bad tilll i put the new plugs in:confused:..what should my booost be readin on a healthy motor with a nearly perfect turbo?? and open dp

On a stock turbo running wastegate pressure, 12-13 is pretty decent.

If it was fuel cut, you would know. It's like someone takes a sharp jab at the brakes.

If it pops and pops, you could be running rich. Boost leak test. Same old song and dance.

The spark plugs you should be using are NGK BPR 6ES. Nothing else is better.

And please use apply some of that grammar you learned in school. It's a bit of a nightmare reading your posts.

the "p" port on the throttle body is a good spot as well!

yea i dont buy anything thats not brp6es.but ima check alot of other stuff when i get off..hopefully run a blt on it
