Less vacuum being sucked away from the intake manifold into places not necessary...

Plus you'll thank yourself in the future since it will be easier to work around..

Well there is a whole write up, search..... dont be lazy. As far as a few things, few pressure soleind, lines on intake and the egr lines. Just dont go and pull these though without reading the faq and tutorial...as for you can mess things up

The only vac lines you need are from fpr to intake manifold, intake manifold to bov, and wastegate to mbc/boost source unless you plan on keeping the EGR. Most just get a plate and block it off.

so if you remove all these lines, what is left to hook boost gauge up to?

you hook the boost gauge up from the fuel pressure regulator vacuum line to the intake manifold.

Like other people have said, DONT BE LAZY all the information is available for you on DSMTuners. Just search.

Here man, since you cant find it yourself. ALL THE INFO YOU NEED

I hope next time you use the search the forums

You can leave the fpr to solenoid, solenoid to intake mani lines in and feed your boost source reading through there.

you can leave the solenoid but it is not needed. you can removed this piece of equipment and the only thing you might need is to wait a little when starting your car, there is a term for it but I cant remember. you might need to turn your key and keep it turned for a bit more to get it started, an easy way to fix this in the future is to get a larger fuel pump.

I know you have a 2g but here's a picture and you can see that the two harnesses that are not plugged in are the AC harness (removed the fuse box) and the fuel pressure solenoid. My car runs amazing and I also removed all the vacuum lines that are not needed.

Throttle Body vacuum lines

The red dashes is the vacuum line that you can tap for a boost source for your boost gauge.
Fuel pressure regulator vacuum line.

These are the two harnesses that connect to the ac and fuel solenoid.

you can also run your gauge off of the p port on the throttle body

acording to the pictures that are in the link, all of those hoses are removed, thats why I origionally asked where the boost gauge can tap to as after removing them all you end up with like only 2 lines left on the motor. They also have it as having the bov and the mbc T'd into the same line, I thought you arn't supposed to do that because it can make your bov not function properly.

The link are pretty much the complete plans for vacuum removal. Personally I run the MBC from the turbo outlet nipple to the wastgate, nothing to do with the BOV line. My Bov line goes directly to the vacuum port on the intake manifold. My friend runs it between the BOV and he does have any problems, I personally prefer not to.

I run my Boost gauge off of the fuel pressure regulator vacuum line. I cut it, put a t-bracket in, and hooked up my gauge.
