I searched but didn't get a clear answer. I want to remove the ac so can I just pull all the lines to or do i have to worry about anything else?

You can pull all the lines, the belt, the condensor, and the compressor. Make sure you have it emptied by a professional if it's not empty already.

"Legally" you should have it emptied by a professional.

Well I think its empty anyways. Now what should a mechanic do to empty it just in case he doesn't know how?;)

i was thinking about doing this as well...if i wanted to, would using my manual be sufficient enough source for the removal?

The only reason it should be professionally emptied is because the gases are harmful to the atmosphere. When a pro empties it, they store the gases, instead of releasing them to the atmosphere. They should know how to empty the A/C system if they do any A/C work.

Yes.

Thanks
