Hey,

Im going to be getting my car back from SBR soon...Should be around 330-350whp.

I have 17x7s right now with Falken 215/45/17 ziex-512s
How will they work with this amount of power...keeping in mind im FWD.

They are installing prothane motor mounts and a bm lsd insert as well...
What would you reccomend for just the front...im gonna leave the rears as the ziex 512s(no point in spending money to replace those).

Will be a daily driver...so I want max dry and good wet traction. I can keep my current ziex 512s and use them during winter time.

So what should I do...if possible...rather not buy new rims...I do have my stock 16in rims...let me know what you guys think.

If you are talking about staggering your tires, this is a good idea when racing in a straight line. But with "sticker" tires in the front than in the rear, you will have lift-throttle-oversteer. Meaning that your rear tires will step out before your front tires while in neutral, due to the smaller contact patch.
If you want to try to make the car to handle neutrally in all situations (considering this is a daily driver), I would keep all 4 tires the same size, as well as same brand/compound.
When mismatching tire sizes, you will be having different slip angles from the front and rear.

Here is an extreme example:

Imagine I have a 700whp FWD GST. I gut the front fenders, and customize the front suspension linkages, and then I fit 305/45/17 sized Hoosier tires on the front.
On the rear, I buy 2 1985 Ford Escort steel wheels, and put on 2, twenty five dollar WallMart special tires, sized 145/70/13. (Yes I know these are extreme opposites, but bear with me.)
Now with my crazy looking GST, I head down to an AutoX race. During the turns while in neutral, the rear of the car breaks traction first, and the car oversteers, and the car pivots around the two front tire contact patches. I take a hard right, and then an immediate hard left. What happens? The rear tires will still be recuperating from the last turn, and when trying to turn again, the car will be cocked in the wrong position entering the turn, and upon over correcting, the rear swings out AGAIN, this time WAY too far, because the oscillating frequency (fish-tailing) is increasing.

This is an extreme example of a staggered FWD car. Your new front LSD won’t be able to work to its’ full potential if you can’t plant that rear end.
