As, title states. Which Odsessy battery works best for my 2g 420a auto. I'll be getting it locally from summit, sometime. I browsed their site, cant figured out which odsessy model is our car and where to get the battery tie down for this, make it fit under the 420a bay. I have seen pictures of other 420a's with them, they look great.

If the odsessy dont work, optima red top will my alternate. Keep in mind I'm only running just a basic head unit, aint into the heavy bulky systems that weight the car down.

If this was brought in the past I do really apologize. Thought, I'd post this here first safe myself from a flame. I know I've been for awhile but I still thought this might help some new comers.

I personally have a redtop, No experiences with the odsessy batteries but you see them being used in alot of high dollar race builds

Some people have issues with the Odyssey batteries, where as some people don't. I personally run the PC680 without a problem. There's a thread on ECMLink forums about the small batteries and a guy just posted a review about the BB Battery EVP20-12.

He states:
"Both my Talon and EVO are running this battery, the one in my Talon is 2+ years old now. The EVO is a daily driver permanently on e85 and never skipped a beat through winter cold starts. I went to this after two PC680 batteries died within 6 months after buying them."

That battery is the same physical size of the PC680 so you can use the tray from JMFab.

I have not had a problem with the PC680 like some do but whenever this one finally dies I'm going to try the one listed above to test out.

Dalesmitsu, did you ever pickup a battery?

I was between the EVP20-12 and the PC680...but I'm running a sound system so looks like no savings for me...unless I move the system to my truck :hmm:
