Which O2 sensor is bad?

Hey guys,

I just installed an air fuel gauge with the writeup posted here: http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=69282. I tapped into the wires it told me on the ECU. The gauge goes bonkers from rich to lean the whole time, only sometimes at a certain rpms will it settle down and read like it should.

I'm assuming I have a bad O2 sensor, but I don't get any check engine light codes, which makes me believe only one is bad. Does anybody know which one it would be? I'd hate to buy both if I can get by changing one for now.

Ummm, it's supposed to keep bouncing between rich and lean. Sounds like it's working.

Yea, it's going to go nuts all the time unless you've got it floored.

The DSM O2 sensor isn't a linear-response unit. It's pretty-much a yup/nope device, which is why the AF in "Air/Fuel Gauge" means only "Aperture Filler".

Your O2 sensors are fine.

Thanks for the replies guys! I was under the impression that the A/F gauge was supposed to act a little differently than it does.
