Which Magnaflow?

Doing a full 3" exhaust and have read that the magnaflow is the best lowest tone.
Just wondering if anyone knows a good part number or series that would fits good. Thanx for the help as always.. TTY

iv got the 3 inch catback, sounds great, bolted right in no issues just have a friend handy and use lots of pb blaster a day or two before u on bolt the old stuff, sorry thou i dont have the part number ill look for it thou

magnaflow has two style of mufflers,street and race.The race ones are the lower tone and sound almost euro.very Nice.they are kinda buzzy when their cold.The race ones sound nice on some cars and on others it sounds like an ebay $2 muffler.my.02

My exhaust didnt come with a resonator. Its an old rsr 3" that Ive had for a long time. I did eventually weld an RRE 14" resonator in and havent had a cat in years also. We dont have emissions where Im at but we do have noise laws. Thats the only reason for the resonator. Without a resonator, I would expect a raspy tone but couldnt tell you for sure.

I had a Apex N1 and due to harrasement from the local PD about vauge exhaust policies. I hacked off the N1 canister and welded up this from Magnaflow http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/shopexd.asp?zone=main&id=464

Ordered from hottexhaust, took a few days to get here, and only cost $75.00 including shipping. Sounds almost EXACTLY the same as the Apex N1, and its hard to tell anything is done to the car unless you see the 3" piping under the car or the FMIC.

When puchasing I did not opt for any of the special chrome tips or anything, just the aluminizied steel body muffler. Looks PLENTY plain, but again that is the goal

I am not sure on which part number my muffler is. But i got a Magnaflow canister with the silencer bolt in type deal. I took the silencer out and cut the mounting area for it out. Sounds great even tho its just straight piped still has the nice tone and not to loud.

oops yeah i meant street,the race ones are the loud ones. .Just check your local muffler shop so you can see which one you like in person,get the model number and buy it for cheaper elsewhere.stick with me kid I'll show you cheap bastard tunning 101.
