Which K&N filter?

A few months ago I bought a solid intake pipe and when I got it my massive 9 inch K&N filter was too long. The previous owner of my car has the 4 inch round adapter plate for the K&N filter. I am looking around to buy a new one but none of my local auto parts stores have any that would fit. I am looking online and I really know nothing dimension wise about what will fit and what won't. Does anyone have any experience with any 4" K&N filters? I would really like to avoid having to buy another adapter plate since the K&N FIPK is $100+ when I could just buy a new filter.

I know....that's what I'm trying to do but I don't know which filter fits with both the 4" adapter and an eBay intake pipe.

Is the adapter on the maf? If so any 4" inlet filter would work.

The k&n fipk intake system can be bought with just the intake and not the hardware. It's under intake systems on stm then with the k&n fipk there's a drop down option for filter alone.

The fipk is an oval filter at least that's what it looks like.

What about getting a drop in filter instead? I believe knn do offer this in your model. But not having the oem air box is a problem. Or get a Cold Air Intake and you can just retro fit the sensor.
