K&N air filter?

Tried searching for a specific answer, but I couldn't find quite what I was looking for. I hear a lot of members talking about running a K&N, and I'm curious which one fits in the 1G Talon TSi. All the threads I've found talk about it but aren't very specific as to what they did. Some insight would be appreciated

The stock replacement is oval to fit the maf.If you go to a 2g maf you can run a round k&n.

I have one that I'm not using..I don't have the cleaner stuff tho.

The K&N website only pull up the round model when I searched by vehicle. Do you happen to have the item # for the oval model/would you be willing to sell yours?

A (stock replacement) for a (K&N filter) is part # E2875. You may need to remove the stock (big air filter housing) and then bolt this in to the intake.

I think you're backwards. Stock 1g is round and stock 2g is oval.

Just 2g on the left. There's a reason there was a K&N adapter made and sold for a 2g MAF to run a conical filter.

Damn, I forgot the 2g needed that adapter for a K&N filter. And now I remember that 1g's have a slightly out of round filter. Been on SD for a little while and forgot.
