I know there are tons of threads asking "What injector size would you recommend?" but here's another. I have searched for awhile through the forums for a setup similar to mine to avoid posting another random thread but I didn't have any luck.

My profile is updated with my latest updates but I've posted them below to save you a click. I'm in the process of swapping in the new motor and I've decided that I'd like to shoot for 500hp and I know I am going to need the fuel to back that up.

What injector size would you recommend? I do not have an afpr yet but will be purchasing along with a high flow fuel rail of some kind. I would like to buy injectors that I can keep for awhile rather than having to upgrade soon and waste money.

Thanks for the help!

Mods:
Big EVO3 16G turbo with 34mm flapper, 650cc FIC fuel injectors, Walbro 255lph, Coil-over plugs, GM MAF, dsmlink v3, Eagle H-Beam rods, Ross 8.5:1 pistons bored .30 over, Crower springs & retainers (9k rev kit), Ferrea valves 1mm over, HKS 264/272 cams, HKS cam gears, clevite custom made thrust bearings, Fox Lake ported head flowing 435cfm through each port

You don't need the aftermarket rail and you will find it VERY difficult to get 500hp out of the E316g but hey shoot for the stars.

Yea, I realize the turbo is going to be the one of the main factors holding me back. I guess I am going after the parts cheapest to most expensive. Why do you say I wouldn't need the aftermarket rail? I would think if I was running 1000+ injectors a high flow rail would make sense.

forget the fuel rail your not making enough horse to need one yet. get a afpr. max out your current setup before adding more crap.

You dont need a bigger fuel rail, lots of people do fine without it, its just more blingy but if you have money to spend go for it, larger injectors you can, because you have dsmlink

Thanks for the feedback, dude. I was wondering if a fuel rail would really matter considering my current setup and goals. As for the injector size, that's what I plan to do: go as big as I can afford. I will probably end up with FIC 1250s.

1250's for 500whp is a bit excessive unless you are running e85. You can make that with 850's and be fine with probably better cruising afr and control.

For people suggesting anything under 1000cc please stop. You have DSMlink, the joy of running link is you can run a very large injector. If you get anything under 1000cc your stupid. Mod once and do it right. I'm on the E316g with 1000cc running 100% E85. I started out with 650's and quickly ran out of room. 1250's would be great for you, especially when/if you start running E85.

The stock fuel rail moves a ridiculous amount of fuel so that is not a necessity. Like others have said an AFPR would be necessary.

Thanks a lot for the feedback, guys. Kyle, I was thinking the same thing... Why did I buy dsmlink?? Haha. I will stick to my current plan of 1250s + AFPR and I guess I will stick to the stock rail.

Thanks a lot guys. Feel free to give more feedback cause I'd appreciate any knowledgable input.

What fuel are you planing on running? Like everyone else above said, get 1000+ cc injectors. Be aware though, that anything over 1450cc bluemax's (like FIC 1600's) are hard to make idle at lower RPM's (950 or less).

Unfortunately we don't have many E85 stations around here so I will be running 93-94. Thanks for the info on the idling info. I was wondering about that.
