Which ECU is this? pics inside

Ok so this ecu is clean. ha but i just redid a ton of work on my 420a. rod bearings oil pump water pump etc. and now after the rod bearings, it started one n stalled after a few minutes. now its not starting. fuel pump only kicks on when i unplug the ecu. I belive its this ecu. Idk how to take it apart. i pulled all the screws and theres a big rubber padding thats glued in and im afraid to pull it out incase the ecu is good. is this the right ecu for my car? stock ecu or eprom? my car is a 1995 gs with a 96 engine.

Any thing will help?? It is also throwing random numbers when i manually check the CEL codes. my obd2 dont work..??? wierd

It looks to be (at least) a N/T ECU by the case and the Chrysler part number. You don't have to worry about EPROM or not - that's only a turbo thing.

But I don't see a part number listed that I can match with something from Mitsubishi CAPS (parts program).

Those stickers aren't going to help anyone out bro. It is from the company that remanufactured the ECU. The logo looks like it says ASI or something. The numbers you gave for the bottom left and right side are numbers that pertain to the company (like which sticker to put on what ECU / box / whatever). The number and DC code are most likely for company use as well....kind of a batch number or company code if you should have any issues, they'd know the date it was processed, etc.

Is there any way of finding out if its the right year for my car? it has a blue dot on the plastic by the pins. like jumkyards or dealers put on parts. My car is a n/t at the moment. But im not getting any fuel and cant read the codes since my obd2 dont work. and the ECU is the only thing i can have reason to believe is bad.

Did the car run with that ECU before or did you just pick that ECU up?

It ran with it, once i got it i found out it was unplugged, plugged it in and started up. now i found all the problems. fixed them and now itll start if i leave it sit over night then idle for about 5 minutes and shut up. and when i go to turn it over itll just turn over once and stop or start with the peddle to the floor and idle with the gauge at 0 to 3rpm jumpin up n down then stall.

The car was over heating. and i mean so hot you couldnt touch the hood hot. and the ECU would be screaming a high pitch noise. but up until i changed the rod bearings it would always start up. if that helps.

if im not mistaking, 95's had a different computer, 96 had a different computer, and then 97-99 had the same. that is the Non-Turbo models

Thats what i been reading over and over. 95 is different. 96 is and the rest all are. That you gotta used the same year. but how can i find out what year this ECU is? Im gonna put it back in tomorrow around noon and try starting it. if my battery isnt dead. Any ways of pinpointing if its an injector? fuel pump? the ECU? or anything why it wont start and stay running.

I first thought fuel pump. But it kicks on after i pull the ECU and sometimes itll like stick and keep priming. Im sticking with the ECU but i dont know of any ways of testing it or how to find the year is belongs to.
