the guy who i bought the crank off of, i thought he said it was a 100mm crank which now i know its a stroker crank. and i asked him if it was a stock crank and he said yah.

If that is a 6 bolt crank than it might be a very rare g4cs crank. If it is a 7 bolt it probably comes from one of the mitsu/hyui 2.4l engines like spyder or something. It is an oem crank just not from a 4g63 and you will need different (stroker) pistons to run it.

That might be an aftermarket crank, here is what a g4cs crank would've looked like:

Sorry , My Clevite catalog and the AREA catalog have no listing on a casting number of "73"

Nor do I see anything under Kia or Hyundai that comes close to the markings you provided.

It will have to have the stroke measured to find out.

This is a crude method, but should get you close.

lay a straight edge, or pull a string tight so it splits the main bearing oil galley in half.

Next take a dial caliper (perfered) or a mesuring tape.

Now measure from the straight edge, to the center of the rod oil galley.

Now take that measurement and multiply by 2 and that will give you the stroke of the crank.

Stock stroke is 88mm or 3.465 so half is 1.732 or about 1 3/4 inches

Long stroke is 100mm or 3.937, so half is 1.9685 of 1 15/16

The diffreance is not much, but this should get you in the ball park
