I'm going to assume you're talking about this and unless I'm mistaken it's the switch that tells you when your hood is open.

Thats by the Passanger side headlight, between the fuse box and the UICP if im not mistaken(?)

But i have no idea what it is since my car does not have that or anything that lookst like that.

well, would you look at that...i have that same foreign object in my 90 eclipse gsx... still dont know what it is tho cause my car is in the shop, i only see this thru pics of my engine bay

Did your car come with the factory alarm?

That's what I said. It's the switch that tells you when your hood is open and subsequently makes the alarm go off when it's activated.

yeah its for the stock alarm sensor.
