which coilovers to choose

I love my JICs but I don't think they are made anymore. There is a guy out here in CA that just totaled his GSX and has a set for sale.

Don't forget Yonaka motorsports. I have had a set of the spec 1's on my eclipse for about 3 years and are holding up amazing. And holding to my needs at the track, good ride no wheel hop even good for dd. All for a fair price, you can't beat that in my book.

I actual just purchased a set of TEIN Flex Coilovers. Can't wait to get them on. Also buying the EDFC unit as well. The best thing I have heard was Koni Yellows with Ground Effect Coilovers or TEIN Flex Coilovers. The only thing that made me buy the TEIN Flex Coilovers is they came with pillowball mounts, adjustable and there rebuildable. Also just paid 700 for them. Most aftermarket coilover sets for 2g they don't offer pillowball mounts don't know why but to each his own.

Yes Ground Control just relized my #### up LOL. Damn its to early still and were slow as shit at work right now.

I have Tein Flex coils with the EDFC and can not say enough about the quality and performance. I live in New York City, pothole central, and she rides like stock when it comes to the comfort of the ride. The ability to change the damping of the shocks from inside of the car is awesome.

I previously owned a 1g with a KYB AGX ground control setup which I was extremely happy with but love my teins.

With a budget of 1k I would go with a highly recommend Koni/ground control setup. I have not heard anything negative about the K-sport/dsport coils other then its a rough ride but performance wise they do what they are suppose to.

Hope this helps enjoy your DSM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Haha! With a budget of only $1k, I would rather have K-Sports than BC. KW may make their V1 series that's still under $2k.

See the post above yours (edit: or the post above this one). As has been said so many times, in the $1k range, Koni Sports and GC sleeves are the answer.

Just giving the OP some options...just like the above poster also states.

Sorry that I did not give my opinion your your two coil over selections, but I do not have any personal experience with those two brands nor do I know anyone running them on there car. Is this car a Daily driver?
