hey just wondering where everyone bought their aftermarket parts (turbos, gauges, BOV, clutches) online. I just got an eclipse and im looking for a reliable place with good prices.

Recomend any of the DSMtuners supporting vendors. They almost always have what you need at a very fair price! They all normally have sales goin on where you can find some pretty sweet deals!

He does not have access to it. Below the 50post requirement. Will be a good place to check though in the future.

I have 28 posts and I check it all the time. Not saying your wrong but I have access to it. Maybe its 50 posts to sell something but I think you can still buy stuff if you have less than 50.

Correct.

I've sold to numerous people who have less than 50 posts.

It's been a while since I was limited from it but back then you needed 50 posts and had to be a "proven member". They may have changed it since then but I wouldn't know.
EDIT: I just checked the rules and I was mistaken, you just cannot post new ads or leave feed back as a "new member/lurker" I may have just been mistaken with the other forums rules with their classified section too. Sorry bro.

So OP IF you do have access to the classifieds, that is the best route to go for parts if you find what you need on there. Happy hunting.

Over all, I usually buy Welcome To Extreme PSI as they do have a large assortment of items and I personally have a next day package. They do charge a $7.50 handling fee on EVERY order even if it's just a bolt. I made a bulk order here STM | STREET TUNED MOTORSPORTS | DSM | EVO | SUBARU | PERFORMANCE & DYNO TUNING and they have been having a lot of sales lately. Some people don't like Welcome to Slowboy Racing for one reason or another, but I didn't have problems when I ordered a while back. Road///Race Engineering Mitsubishi Eclipse Parts and Performance is a good vendor as well. JNZ Tuning is another reccomended vender for their OEM parts list. The list can go on and on depending on what you are looking for.

I personally like punishment racing, it seems like items are at a good price on that website.

Atleast pistons, connecting rods etc.

This all depends on location and preference but.. I recommend extremepsi also, they ship fast and are cheap, but the phone service isn't the best out there. I also like dsmgraveyard they are nice people and can help you out, while there shipping is a little slow. I also do not recommend slowboy racing as the website is annoying, they are slow to ship and quality isn't always the best (shipped me a oil restrictor that was rusted up).

No place is perfect but try a few out and make your own decision.

well just to clear up a couple earlier posts, its something like 25 or 30 "helpful posts" that earn you the proven member status (trust me, cause im still not there yet LOL). however, this doesnt affect using classifieds section, ive had access to classifieds since day 1 of my membership, you just have to pm the seller and work out a deal when you find what you are looking for.

as far as your question though, i definately agree that the classifieds on this site are definately where you will find the most helpful sellers as well as the best prices by far. for example ive seen multiple apexi n1 full turbo back exhausts, probably a new vendor price of 1000 plus msrp, for 350 to 450 shipped. that is an amazing deal, even if that exhaust has 10000 miles on it.

and for vendors, from what ive found i really thought that cx racing had some very very good deals, but really you just have to spend a couple hours, look around at like 3 to 5 sites for each thing your looking at buying, and find the best price. you will find significant savings at different sites, some just have better deals on different products, so it all comes down to how much your willing to search for the right deal. lets just say that i feel very comfortable recommending any of the vendors advertised on this site to friends or family for good, fairly priced products for our cars.

but honestly, if i were you, as long as your not worried about having nothing but brand new parts, i would just say check out the classifieds on here, use the search if you need to, and if you cant find what you need look on a couple vendors till you find a price you like! or hit up craigslist, never know what kind of deal you'll find there!

oh and btw, if your looking for a turbo (or if anyone else reading this is) i have a t3 20g, t3 tubular manifold, and tubular o2 housing, with new gaskets for all connections for the install for sale. i bought the setup and have not installed it yet, will sell it for right offer, or possibly trade for a 16g with cash on top. pm me
