Hey guys I'm new to the forum and new to the Eclipse owners club. I just picked up a 1995 GS and have decided to build up this 420a. I picked up the car for 400 dollars and it ran when I got it, not a bad deal. The car had a tick that sounded like valve train noise so I'm assuming it either jumped time or one of the lifters is going out in it. I really just wanted everyone to know where I'm coming from for this post. I use to be a huge GTP fan but after years of being told it was a terrible platform I gave up on my 13.7 1/4 mile GTP and have been driving a DD for a while but the mod bug has bitten me once again with this Eclipse and I've gotten that stupid idea in my head again that I want a race car.

I've looked around and haven't seen anyone suggest where they buy their parts for modding their Eclipse's. I've been trying to find some ARP head studs, forged 8.5 : 1 pistons, and forged rods amongst other things but I won't bore your with the details. I really just don't want to go through JEGS or Summit so I was hoping you guys would clue in me into the best place to start finding these parts?

I've searched the site for the past days and haven't found any of this information with the search function or by browsing topics. I apologize if this is a frequently asked question but I have exhausted all of my knowledge of this site.

Thank you for any reply, I am gracious for any help.
