wheel size and offset to be able to run 275s?

Well then I am definitively going to go with a 275/40/17 on a 17X9 set of wheels. Mavisky, do you have a pic from the back down low showing off the 275s?

Ive posted this picture a few times, but it seems to fit with what the thread wants too see.

One thing I didnt count on, which was a huge bonus, was all the added attention I got with my car. In a sea of Evo's, STi's, Vettes, etc.. people started to come by to give the DSM some respect.

A big warning though, when you add more grip you really start to highlight other weaknesses in your suspension. For example, I was running 550 front and 450lb/in rear springs and had my car set at a 2 finger gap with street tires. My first auto-x on the tires was a fiasco. I had nasty snap oversteer from being undersprung and too low.

After a few iterations of changes, I found a sweet spot at 700lb front/450 rear with a stock rear bar and front RM bar. Camber is at ~2.5* front and ~1* in the rear with max caster set on the SPC arms.

That really gives me the impression of what My Panda Talon would look like with 275s! It looks killer! OK next question is; what offset should I be looking for for 17 or 18X9s? My Car isn't lowered. In fact it looks like I'm ready to go offroading it's so high. I am planning on picking up a set of coilovers in the near future.
