I did a search and I even read an faq that marco made but I either got confused or didn't find much information about rims with a 30mm offset.

I basically am wanting to run 245/45/17 on a 17x8 rim with an offset of 30mm. Is anyone familar with this combo or know if it would work with or without rolling the fenders. Thanks for the time.

I wouldn't recommend that setup on a daily driver. Although I haven’t heard of offset related bearing failure, popular opinion is that one should not go lower than 35 mm. Those might be some nice autox wheels though.

And yes, you would definitely need to roll the fender flanges, unless the suspension is lowered, in which case it probably wouldn’t matter. When you correct the negative camber, they would protrude past the fender edges.
