I just finish the awd conversion on my GST. But right now, I am having a problem. When I make full turn left or right, the wheel will locked. You have to force it. Does anyone know what happened? I searched online, someone said, I got the welded diff. But I don't know which diff. got welded, because it's from junk yard. Is there any way I can tell which diff got welded?

The center differential is the one that usually is welded and that one is in the trans.

When u make a hard right or left at low speeds does the car buck. With a welded center it'll feel like having 4x4 engaged in a truck.

Like the others have already said, it sounds like the center differential is welded. Please note that it could also be a damaged center differential in which the gears are locked up.

As far as telling what you've got going on, there's really no sure way to tell without tearing it apart. Here's a good writeup on what to do to weld your center diff, so maybe it can help.
