I've been seeing how people would pay "Top Dollar" for a 90 eprom ecu. I was wondering why. Whats the difference between a 90 eprom ecu and a 92 eprom ecu? I have a 92 eprom ecu and was wondering if that would work with DSMlink?

I bet it is because 90s rarley have eproms and only 90 ecus work in 90s so an eprom 90 ecu is rare.

Supply and demand.

They are very rare but you can use later ECU's in a 90. I used a 92 in my last Talon and it worked fine after I swapped the wires. The factory tach acts crazy but thats the only difference I noticed.

Because only a '90 ECU will work in a '90 car without having to modify the ignition system to make the tachometer work. So like the guys have said supply and demand dictates the prices.

The 1G version of DSMLink will work in any 1G EPROM ECU.
