Whats hard to find or rare on a 1G

I have had everything off and redone it all except the shortblock at this point.
Oh yeah the Carrier bearing deal wasn't that bad to do. Did it right there at my shop. no longhorn trailer driveshaft shop work required.
And i would hardly say $6500 is cheap.

I always figure it was lost at some point.
Maybe the console was an option on the low tier car.
My 1st car all through highschool was my 1.8l laser and it didnt have it.

Lol I have over half that in OEM stuff for the engine rebuild. I did'nt want to spare expense on my Talon, the Eclipse I had was fun though. Lol I can send my driveshaft to you now.

Yea... I REALLY hope that you have the driveshaft disconnected or something if that is the 90AWD that you have listed in your avatar. I might otherwise be cringing right now.

Ya no drive shaft, motor, trans. The three bolt in the rear is toast the spider gears whine really bad. The guy I bought it off of never put lube in the diff. I have a spare 3bolt that I'm putting in when I install the engine.

HAHA I completely tore it apart and replaced all u joints, carrier bearings bushings and even tore the cv joint in the middle of it apart. cleaned everything repacked with new syn grease and re-assembled man the reaction time is way different . it wasnt that bad just time consuming but ill help ya if ya wanna do yours

1990 GST's had the lower EDM lip on the bumper skin.

Yep hes right those Lips only came on 90 GST's and are pretty rare, also the sunroof deflector is pretty rare aswell. i have both on my 90 GST. heres a pic. i would say the rarest part would be 1ga EDM talilights (the ones with amber on the corners) I would love to see somebody find a set of those for sale haha

Some front EDM corner lights like mine. I got them from a guy from Germany on eBay. it uses only one P21 bulb that originally blinks along with the turn signals. And it also have no reflector in it whatsoever. Pretty rare find

It's believed that the only non-hump hoods came on the 1.8L DSM from 90-91 with the pop-up headlights... wish I had a couple spare bills laying around, I'd buy one to keep as a mold for a carbon fiber or fiberglass hood:

The flat hood only applies to the SOHC 1.8 liter cars (4g37). All of the 4g63 cars built from 90-99 had the hood bump, turbo or not. The bump was put in the hood for clearance of the cam gears, otherwise they would hit the hood.

Had a 90 1.8 WAAAAY back in the day (1999-2000) with a "bumpless" hood. I don't think it would clear any 4g63 vehicle without modification.
