Whats hard to find or rare on a 1G

1g's have the WORST spot for a cupholder. Ever.

So true, and its the same with the cigarette lighter. So awkward shifting if you have something running off of it.
 
I have both of those: no rust and working a/c. The a/c is getting a retrofit this spring.

I think I also have one of the lowest mileage 1ga's at 83k kms (~51k miles).

What do you mean by retrofit?

if your talking about buying those $20 adapers to put 134a in i understand.
im just making sure no one has told you that you needed different lines dryer and accumulater to run 134a instead of r-12

By retrofit I mean drain the refrigerant and the oil, replace it with R-134a and POE oil, and install a new receiver/dryer.

I actually have my certificate in air conditioning :)
 
I have those bottom trim pieces on my 90 tsi. Also she's got low miles less that 95K.
Factory wired down and up electric windows got those
Tan rear deck lid I have three of these
CUP HOLDER got them

Not to get off topic but did you let the tow truck pull your car like that? If so how's your rear?

Looks to be in project status. Front suspension is fully extended, no headlights.

I'd say no motor under the hood, I think the car will be fine. :thumb:

i ain't cheap. I have spared no expense on my 92 tsi. hehe hell i even change my oil about twice a month ( and im running royal purple)

That's excellent....I think my 90 GSX has around 89K.....trying to limit my driving of it and put off 90K as long as possible.
 
I'm no where near cheap. I just bought my 1g and already spent a little over a grand at STM and almost 500 at ExtremePSI.. No where near done yet. That's not buying a whole new motor. I'm talking all new bolts, all timing components, all belts, pretty much all maintenance along with some goodies to help my need for feeling boost.
