ok... heres the situation. i have a 96 rs eclipse blown motor... and i also have a 95 talon tsi that i just bought with a blown motor.. and the guy through in a nother 7 bolt motor with teh turbo mounted on with "10,000" miles on it . got the talon really cheap that why i picked it up .. wanted to go above and beyond the 420a seeing everyone dogs it .. any who the guy says there 10k on the motor any way i can tell with out putting it in. and what about crankwalk.... ive never had a dsm engine before oo im pretty clueless hope u guy could lead me in a good direction thanks

run a compression test on it first, with only 10k miles make sure the numbers read over 160psi

Check the crank end play to check for any sign of crankwalk.

ok soo im gonna do a compression check mak sure its above 160 psi... do u know what the psi should be or ruffly around if its got only 10k on it. also check the crank to see if its loose wobbly or shows any other signs of crank walk... thanks guys.. got another question. no it comes with the t-2little and i have a t3 turbo from garret i was going to be useing on my 420a with a built block(which is on the way soon to be for sale ) i know i would have to get a install kit for tsi but other than that would the stock internals be able to handle it . i know it would have with forged pistions on a 420a but i dont know how strong the internals are for the tsi.. if soo how much psi would u recomend at a safe level

ok cars being delivered to my house tom.. had a nice extensive talk with the seller. he told me the engine came from jasper motors and apparently when they do work on 7 bolts there crankwalk ratio is lessened. gonna try and have my dad runn a compression check on it when it gets there. yea after searching (which i should have done first) the stock internals can hold up pretty good .. but im probally gonna go with the 16g turbo easier install and heard great reviews on it along with a 255 walbro fuel pump.. also seeing the engines out of the car right now.. do think i should put a new head gasket and timing components on it even though it has only 10k on it..

Shouldnt the 2g compression be over 170 near 180
