nice list i would for sure go with bigger turbo i love my 50 trim :):thumb:
 
I was going to go 20G and I knew everyone would say 16G or bigger but I wanted a little more input besides turbos. Does anybody think I'm missing anything else than a turbo or 2.3L stroker?

Thats a start if you want to get serious.
 
The C.O.P. will need an ignition or it will most likely backfire in the high powerbands and the clutch and transmission may need work. The next step would be upgrade the block, like pistons, rods, etc... if you intend to go that far.
 
Just want to get my DSM some more HP right now, I'm not going to get crazy yet. 1G, when you say ignition you meaning an MSD?
 
dsm link is great but there are ways with out it. if you already have a logger (i dont see one on your list) i would just use that with your apexi neo otherwise get rid of the apexi and just go dsm link. but you must have some sort of logger right.?

MSD would work but I hear Dynatek ARC-2 is a lot better but there is really no intent for a c.o.p. I've seen 500-600 hp DSM with stock ignitions and spark plug wires with no problems.
 
No logger yet, Still ordering parts. Looking for deals on parts first before I just order them
 
ACT 2600 or better clutch..... and a trans that can handle the extra power.... and then a 4 bolt rear that won't pop axles every other launch. or you could just do them all at once :dsm:
 
Thanks for all the advice everyone. Good thing I'm not married yet, plus the army is paying me some good money as a Sergeant in Iraq to play with my cars.

Cool, never been to Baghdad. I'd also suggest that you get bigger than a 20g. After you get everything together and driving, you'll wish you had ROFL
 
Yeah, you have more fuel, there - you need more air to match it out. I'd get a 16G and a DSMLink to manage it all - but that's just me. I like to do things in stages, though. Start at the bottom, and keep adding more mods that complement each other.
