What type of gasket material to use

So i did a quick search didn't find any info. What type of gasket material should I use for my cyclone intake manifold? My current one is not leaking. I'm wanting to drill and tap another source for my map sensor. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks

I used black RTV to put my blow off valve once, i had to take it apart with a hammer. If you want it to never leak again, I'd imagine that'd be the way to do it. Maybe go with grey RTV instead though, the black is super super strong.

EDIT: I assume you're talking between the two halves of the intake, right? There'd be no reason to not just use a regular 1G gasket between the manifold and head.

Yes between the 2 halves. So you're thinking just use ultra grey RTV and no gasket material?

I have used grey "vibration resistant" Permatex on bov flanges also and yes it takes a gorilla to separate it so I agree it would be fine on your intake.

Yeah, and just make sure that you let it set up for 15-20 min before you bolt it back together. There's no way you'd ever find the proper gasket for it again. It's for that reason I'm kind of hesitant to take mine apart.
