gaskets from felpro kit- what to use

Hello, I just got a felpro bottom end gasket set from oreillys and I know that certain seals are meant to have rtv only like the oil pan gasket, but what else is rtv only? And what gaskets require a small amount of rtv on them? The kit also came with a whole bunch of gaskets and washers, but I have no idea where they go, can anyone help me out?

That's the kit that I got, and as for the washers they feel like they're aluminum or something, at first I thought they were for the turbo cooling line banjo bolts, but they are too small to fit.

Call felpro directly. Their gasket kits fit multiple makes and models and include extras. They will have the exact listing for what you need.

Interesting gasket kit, do you have a leak?

From the factory there is no oil pan gasket, but this kit comes with one so be sure to use plenty of rtv on it!

The washers look like oil return line washers. But like boosted said, that's a conversion kit, so there will be a bunch of stuff you won't use.

As far as RTV parts, if you don't see a gasket but rtv, that's when you rtv!
Using some rtv on gaskets as well is awesome! Helps it stick and prevents leaks that the gasket wont seal.
Some gaskets you should never use rtv, like a head gasket.

If you pull off the oil pump/front case use a very small amount of rtv just to help keep in place.

I would only use rtv (I prefer 3 bond or any "bond"mitsu,etc) on the oil pan. And if those washers have rubber on them they might be for the valve cover.

Thanks guys, I've got most of it figured out. and as for the washers, those are for the oil squirter banjos... Which doesn't really help me since I have the revised 7bolt .

Oh and what about the back of the oil pump housing? That little piece that bolts onto the back of the front case? Does it really not need a gasket for it?
