Taking the hairdryer off to rebuild it and noticed oil was leaking from this plug. I am guessing it leads directly to the front balance shaft oil feed. However that particular balance shaft has been deleted before and the bearing should be rotated to block off the feed. So possibly due to the high pressure and shitty plug, oil just makes its way past it and leaks out. Someone appears to have screwed in a bolt in that hole, cut the head off and screw in a nut as well. There is also a copper washer in between.

Does anyone know what the specs/sizes of the OEM plug that goes there are meant to be?

The OEM plug is 1/16 BSPT, seen below. Also for comparison purposes, this plug next to the more common 3/8 BSPT plug.
