What turbo's will fit a 2g GST manifold?

I was thinking about starting a project, and I was just wondering?

Also, which is better the 14b or t25? What are the strong and weak points of both of them?

a 14b will mop up a t25 any day! this is a really easy question to answer but this site is full of great answers so use your search option and do some home work! but seriously, chunk the t25!! :talon:
 
definatley chunk that sh*t :p [ sorry i had to haha ]

14b flows roughly 400 cfm vs. the t2small's 250 cfm.. it also holds boost 'til redline whereas the t25 will die off at around 5.5k.

like said above, try all the tech articles and FAQs here on dsmtuners.. it's much better than sitting around and waiting for people to spoon feed you answers :)
 
The TDO5-14B is the best choice. It spools by 3K and holds till redline...And can be picked up for $100.00 all day long. Great thing about this is that you can hold 16psi on just a upgraded fuel pump :thumb: And when you get bored with the 14b you can have it converted to a small 16G for a couple hundred bucks..And if you decide to upgrade even higher you can sell the 16g for $400.00 all day long. Hope this helps :dsm:

One more thing. The stock side mount will work good with the 14B but I suggest getting a FMIC before you convert it to a 16g...Heat soaking is not a goot thing.. ;)
 
The 14B is a much better unit in all aspects. No sense wasting time even looking at a T25.

i just put a 14b on my car and the difference between that and the t25 is unbelievable...alot more power and u dont loose races because u have to shift at like 5500 rpms. Definitely worth it on any 2g :thumb:

The 14b does bolt up to the 2g manifold you will need new oil feed,new j pipe,modding the pan or the oil drain I forgot what that part was.

They sell kits for it, but you can do it cheaper by modding,and getting a new j pipe and oil feed line.

I'm sure I forgot something.I'll be thinking about it for you.

It is a pretty straight forward upgrade for the 2g. Just be sure to research it, get all parts and tools to do it correctly.
 
Yeah but why doesnt he use a 16g surprised only one person mentioned it.... But as per the title, ill spoon feed a little bit on what i knownworks on the 2g maniold ( which is the same for all dsms)

T25
14b
16g (big, small, or evo3)
20g
A variety of fp turbos
Hta68
Fp green
Fp red
Hta71
Dsm82 hta
Dsm86 hta
any SCM turbo by percision (6152)

And now the goodies
Hx35 in .55ar bullseye power bolt on housing
Hx40 in .55 ar bullseye power bolt on housing

All of those turbos will fit on your manifold, the only thing you should need to modify are the oil feed, drain, and perhaps an intercooler pipe that will wprk for which ever direction firing turbo you end up with, ie (14b,16g, some 20g) require a j pipe, most others are down firing. The larger turbo options obviously require supporting mods...
