I have a 93 Eclipse GSX with 185k miles in which I will be modding over the next couple years. Besides the idle surge issue I currently have it is a clean 1g. I will be solving this problem regardless using the good info on this forum.
I also have another 4g63t that is completely disassembled from a 92 talon tsi, which I also have (just the shell).
Should I keep the few things I need and part everything else out? I was also considering building the block and head I have laying around, but at the same time I would like to generate some cash to fund my project. I have a second vehicle so even if the gsx engine goes I have reliable tranpostation. I guess what I'm saying is should I just part out, save the cash and get the parts to build the gsx?

Keep what u need for the longblock build..Take stuff off of your shell, and sell them.

It may just break You even or cut your losses to minimal, parting out what you dont need:thumb:

Is there a general rule of thumb as far as pricing items goes?

Pricing..Well if you dont need it..Price it low, so someone else can use it..If you have a whole shell..I think you will be fine taking offers..
