What to do to make exhaust fit?

Hi there,

nice greetings from snowy Switzerland.

I got a little question. I have a 2G GSX with a EVOII,..,...upgrade.
Now I need to switch from my custom exhaust to the stock 2G exhaust (need to go to the DMV).
Unfortunatley my stockexhaust (fits for T-25) won't fit to my aftermarket EVOIII 16G upgrade.
Does anyone know what I need in order to get that fit?
Thanks

Presumably you changed the downpipe? If the flange isn't the same on the downpipe, it won't go back together. If the downpipe doesn't go down to the exact same place, it won't go back together.

Nice to see DSM enthusiasm in car-hating Switzerland, as Jeremy Clarkson calls it.

P.S. (I'm from the other SW country in Europe)

Well now we are three from the Europe continent :)

I guess you have the evo3 o2 housing which has a different angled flange for the downpipe. You should find a DSM o2 housing in order to use the stock downpipe.

You can also try to fabricate or find someone to fabricate for you an insert to fill the empty space. It may not be advisable to use it more than just going to the DMV facility and back.
