I got the wrong rims lol any alternatives to what I can do to make them fit

Best would be to sell the rims and get some that are the proper 5x114.

With the +35 offset of the new wheels, usually an adapter to change bolt pattern sizing is 20-25mm already, and may not be feasable for you. (this is roughly 1"), there will be some Poke, and depending on the tire size used will need a roll for the fenders in the front, and a roll with slight pull in the rear. ... Unless ofcourse you want to camber the hell out of it, or stretch a tire.

What kind of wheels did you purchase? Depending on the wheel type, manufacture, and material they can actually be re-drilled and used.

Adapters are not unsafe, especially the larger thickness ones, so long as they are hubcentric.

On my Miata, i use a 4 X 100 15x8 +25, and a 205/50/15 dunlop direzza. no spacer in the front, but a 20mm in the rear. No issues for over a year. Why didn't i get the 0 offset wheels? The ones i Purchased come in One size only 4x100 15x8 +25. To achieve the look i wanted a spacer was used to "flush" the rim, and tire with the fender.

The adapters i used were Mounted, on a clean Surface, ( no rust scale, or dirt)
The Factory Studs were shortened, the supplied Wheel lugs were torqued to spec.
The wheel is then mounted, installed studs on the adapter and torqued to spec.
Everything rechecked, and re torqued after 100 miles. haven't been touched since.

I just dont wanna live with these ugly 16's I got

I probably should have stated they are 5x100 ASA ar1's with 235 45 zr 18's 35 offset

I want these rims on my car

Does your have the little holes inbetween the 5x100 mounts?
If so find a wheel shop that can redrill them, should be no problem

they can do them to aluminum, there are a few places in Los Angeles that can do it. redrill, new barrels, change offset etc.

Look in the recycler, or penny saver for "rim repair" ask them if they can redrill. If not they can point you in the right direction. Meanwhile i'll see if i can dig up, the company that does it the best down here, and get the number for you. You could ship them down, and they'll ship them back.

They Did Custom 16x9.5 BBS wheels for another Miata 5 lug to 4 lug conversion, custom width barrel, and Gold powdercoat for the mesh, out the door 1800.00 bucks, but they are 1 off so yeah the cost was way up there. a redrill will be much less expensive.

A good wheel shop can do a lot for any wheel. They can shave off a bit of the inner hub (adjusting offset), bore out the center hub (i.e. fitting another manufacture's wheel with a smaller hub bore), widen the wheel (seen it done a lot with steelies), drill new holes, and the typical repair cracked or bent rims.

There's one here in San Diego that people go to that get's a number of these jobs done.

Oh and OP: if you do decide to get them redrilled, specify even spacing in between the holes. The may end up looking like this:

An adapter is another option, but make sure its a reputable one and the wheels will still fit with them on.

Don't. Do you want to chance the integrity of the "must have" wheels to an experiment? My confidence would be shaken having bought the wrong wheels to begin with. :p

No way can't let that get you down, I did alot of research and the rims came back as 5x114.3 I couldn't even find 5x100 so everything looked good, I'm brand new to cars have a year experience with anything and everything it's all new to me

It was a dig. I know what fits. ;)

ASA does make the R1 in that size, color, and in a 5x114.3 bolt pattern. Call whomever you bought them from and ask for the right wheels. Any chance you checked the wrong box, or just clicked the wrong wheel? What does the receipt say?
