What should I do ???

Ok so this is my problem, I purchased a 1991 eagle talon about a year and a half ago ( like the 9th one I've owned) as a project. During this time I purchased a very reliable family sedan as my daily driver, also my grand father passed away in december and I was given his 1982 Dodge Power ram which he loved. So as soon as I got the truck I sent it to the best shop in my area for a rebuild ( cause I plan on having this truck forever). I got the truck back Wednesday and also just got my dsm running a little while back, so heres the problem I've got a very small driveway problably big enough for 3 cars, my DD and my girls DD makes two and I'm definately not getting rid of the truck but I also dont want to get rid of my dsm??

I've done all the work on her myself, I love all my cars just running out of room and also the truck needs some tlc and I probably be purchasing parts for both the eagle and the truck ( which the little lady is not gonna be happy if I do that). So what do you guys think?? Should I give up a priceless connection to my grandfather or sell my turbocharged baby

Honestly i would keep the truck and pass it on to one of my kids to keep it in the family, just like ## granfather did. Dsm's are not hard to find and its easier to find than the truck owned by ## grandpa. Especially since its a family gem now.

But thats just my .02

Move somewhere with a bigger driveway.

Option 4:
Rent storage space for the truck until you move somewhere with a bigger driveway.

See thats an option that I had not looked at yet (Storage Rental) I will be moving within the next year or so hopefully to a much larger house "aka" (garage). Maybe if I could make it 12 months or so I could keep all my cars??? How much does storage rental for a car cost. The last time I my dd (not my eagle) at the shop they charged me a storage fee of like 20 bucks a day, I'm not sure if this is the same thing??

Storage would probably be monthly. But it would probably be about the same as 20 dollars a day. 7 days a week 4 weeks a month. That right there is almost 600 bucks a month. I make a decent living but I sure as hell wouldn't spend that much on storage. A truck from your grandpa I think would be more valuable than a dsm. You only have one truck from your grandfather, where as you will be able to get a dsm from anyone.

Yea I see what your saying, I would never get rid of the truck, but I'm gonna hate selling my dsm. Most of the eagle's I've owned in the past I did not have the means to build the car the way I wanted and these days I do have the means to do so. I think i'm gonna see if I could possibly store my car at my uncles house ( 150 miles away) untill I get a bigger place. Thanks for the positive feed back guys!!

Yeah storage isn't worth the price for a car unless you got a lot of money to waste, n if u did have money to waste like that then u wouldn't have this problem in the first place , sell the dsm I say if the truck means that much keep it because dsms come and go(like women) or u can get rid of ## lady and her car!

Only you know how much either car is worth to you so only you can ultimately make the decision, but I know if it was me and I valued both cars a lot, I would look into storing one at a friend or relatives house like you mentioned. There has to be someone willing to let you store your car at there place.

Do you have any yard space at all? Build a carport just big enough to park one of your vehicles in.

No yard space at all, I'm pretty sure my uncle is gonna let me bring the eagle to his place for awhille.

keep both. dsm's are a dying breed. the truck is priceless IMOA and im shure you agree. do you have family or your gilrs family that would allow you to switch from car to car and leave one at another house. it would shure beat the price of storage and it somewhee that it can be watched 24/7 by people you know and trust. if it helps im shure you can ask if you give them like $50 or $100 to keep it there until you move.
