I am on a budget, but a have a little extra money to spend. I am needing opinions on what to buy next. I am debating on buying a Dejon upper L pipe with Greddy flange, so I can buy a Greddy type s bov and recirculate, since I am not currently recirculating with my Apexi. Or should I buy a RRE short 3" downpipe, since I am still on the stocker. Which do you think I would benefit best from?

Current Mods:
Evo 3 16g
Evo 3 o2 housing
3" hi flow cat
3" catback exhaust
Walbro 255, rewired
Aeromotive AFPR
Injen intake
Ported 2g exhaust manifold
Underdrive crankshaft pulley
Mbc
Apexi bov
Complete upper Dejon pipes

You would probably see more gains from the downpipe, but your car would run better if you recirculate, at least that was the story when I did those mods. I'd say go for the BOV/UICP combo, then sell your current BOV and put that towards a downpipe.

If you dont have it, your next mod should be a boost gauge and aN air filter(I don't know if you just got the intake pipe from Injen).

I would get the UICP and greddy so you can be able to recirculate, then with the money you get from selling your BOV and old UICP(only the L one) you can get your DP.

yea, it's amazing how easy it is to upgrade when you make money back from things you are selling. I am sure with the money you get back from your apexi bov you will not need to put too much extra money into getting a good dp. I got mine used for 120 and i love it.

I agree with the others buy the bov and pipe to help out your a/f ratio. Then sell your other ic pipe set up to get the dp. The dp can wait. Oh yea and don't forget to set the greddy type s to the proper psi rate when you get it. Goodluck

I would put on a modded stock bov or a stock replacement so as to not have to spend money on the L pipe AND a bov, sell the Apexi bov, and buy the DP.

I have a greddy uicp type s flange lying around...

Buy a meagan racing downpipe on ebay, mine was like 150 shipped, and was AWESOME craftsmanship.

get both

You might even want to consider going with a 1g BOV which will save you a good bit of cash over the Greddy. Then you will have even more money to go towards other upgrades. I've been using the 1g BOV for a couple of years, and although it might not sound as cool as other BOV's, I don't have a problem with it holding 20psi to redline. :thumb:

Does anyone know of a downpipe that bolts right up to a evo3 o2 housing, other than rre's? That might be cheaper? I have a apexi n1 downpipe for a gsx laying around that I got for free, just dont feel like having to get it cut and welded to fit my gst.
