What sensor is this?

Hey guys this picture is not of my engine bay but I found it on google and used it as a references to my problem.

The symptoms were the idle was down to 200 after just sitting for 30 mins when before idle was perfect. car shaking, feels like it was missfiring.


We checked IAC, check plugs, then this sensor we found to be loose.

What sensor is that? I don't know but I was thinking maybe the AIT sensor. its between the intake manifold and the fuel rail.

it almost looks like on of the harnesses found mounted on below where the stock coil pack would be. i just took mine apart and that looks exactly like that. i see you coil ontop of plugs so that harness would have to be moved when going away from coil packs

I found this picture on google since I just got home and could not find my camera to take a snap of my engine bay, but that was the exact sensor that was causing the problems. We hooked that back in and all the problems went away.

I just don't know what sensor that is though.

Thats the IPT or Ignition Power Transistor.
